Welcome OTA Delaware

Reston VA: We are excited to welcome Julie and George Gillespie to the OTA Family. Both Julie and George are from Philadelphia and moved to Delaware in 2017. They have both been pediatric nurses for 13 years.

Clearly with their background, a main focus of theirs has alway been on health of children. They both love sports and see a massive need in their community for Overtime Athletics programming.

With a daughter of our own, they are looking forward to bringing a healthy environment of sports and fun to Delaware communities.

Julie and George will be starting OTA U this week with plans to start offering programs this Summer/Fall 2023.

Their background in pediatric nursing highlights how committed they are to supporting the well-being of kids. Physical activity is essential for mental health and addiction, especially for young people. Engaging in sports not only improves physical health but also helps with emotional regulation and reducing stress. I'm sure their programs will have a positive impact on the kids in the area, promoting both mental and physical wellness!
