Reston, VA: Overtime Athletics was awarded Best After-School Sports Franchise – USA by Corporate Vision. Corporate Vision is published monthly with the mission to deliver insightful features from across the global corporate world. Launched with an eye towards bettering business practices across the board, we focus on spotlighting advances in the HR, marketing, coaching, and recruitment spheres. To put it simply, we want to shine a light on the gatekeepers of better business. Those that help build, through no small amount of creativity and expertise, to develop an altogether more productive, more efficient world of work.

Southwest VA - We are excited to introduce Justin O'Dell as our newest franchise owner and welcome him to the OTA family.

Justin grew up in Leesburg, VA and graduated from Heritage High School. Upon graduation, he began coaching a 7th grade boys basketball team for Central Loudoun Basketball League and immediately fell in love with coaching. Justin has a passion for the sport and for impacting the lives of young men. He has gone on to coach at the high school, AAU and collegiate levels. Justin was an assistant coach at the University of Lynchburg when the Hornets matched their best regular season record in program history, as well as ranked #14 in the national top 25. In addition to coaching, Justin has managed his own AAU Basketball program (Team Attack 434) and served as the Director of Coaching for Loudoun Basketball Academy.

Justin graduated from Liberty University in 2019 with a degree in Coaching. He now serves as the Boys' Varsity Assistant Basketball Coach at Dominion High School and will be moving back to the Lynchburg area this upcoming spring. Justin is the proud father of 6-month-old Alyvia Macyn O'Dell and plans to launch OTA Southwest VA in Fall 2021.


Richmond VA - We are excited to introduce our newest member to the OTA Family, William Phillips Jr. William has bought the rights of OTA Richmond from Adam Desgain. We are happy for Adam and the new endeavors he is taking on.

William Phillips, Jr. was born in Richmond, VA and attended Meadowbrook High School, where he excelled as a track & field, cross country, basketball, and soccer athlete. While winning multiple team and individual conference championships as a track & field athlete at Hampton University, William graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing. Since graduation, William has managed sales teams for Fortune 500 companies, including Frito-Lay and Coca-Cola, while also operating as director of his business consulting firm.

In his free time, William coaches three youth basketball teams, loves to run, and enjoys spending time with his family around the campfire. William has been married to his lovely wife, Septima, for over 10 years. Together, they have two children, William III (Tre) and Laila, along with their dog (Bo Jackson) & cat (Steph Curry).

William has started his OTA U training and is already lining up Fall programs.
